Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2021 Audi A4 allroad?
The NHTSA lists 2 recalls related to the air bag system that apply to this vehicle and require dealer repair at no cost to owners. Summary: One recall involves a passenger air bag that may not properly deploy through the instrument panel tear seam; another involves oxidation on the Passenger Occupant Detection System (PODS) cable that can disable the passenger air bag. Both recalls were handled by Audi with free dealer repairs (recall numbers include 70H6 and 74D9).
How do I check if my 2021 Audi A4 allroad has an open recall?
You can check your VIN on NHTSA.gov or bring your vehicle to a dealer for a free recall check performed by factory-trained technicians. If you prefer hands-off help, call or visit Audi North Atlanta in Roswell and we will check your VIN and advise next steps; you can schedule service online for a recall inspection.
How much does a 2021 Audi A4 allroad recall repair cost?
Recall repairs are free of charge when performed by an authorized dealer under the manufacturer's recall program. Audi North Atlanta uses OEM parts and factory-certified technicians to complete the required repairs at no cost to you; if you need additional non-recall maintenance we offer service financing and current service specials.
Can I get my 2021 Audi A4 allroad recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Manufacturer recalls must be performed by an authorized franchise dealer to ensure proper remedy, correct parts, and a record with the manufacturer and NHTSA. Audi North Atlanta is a certified Audi dealer with manufacturer training and OEM diagnostic tools — we recommend using a franchise dealer for all recall work to protect safety and preserve warranty and resale documentation.
How long does a 2021 Audi A4 allroad recall repair take?
Most recall repairs are completed the same day or within a few days depending on part availability and appointment volume. Typical remedies for these air bag recalls include replacing the instrument panel or installing a harness cable tie; Audi North Atlanta will give an estimated turnaround when you schedule service and can advise on loaner or shuttle options if needed.
Does an open recall affect my 2021 Audi A4 allroad's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can lower trade-in and resale value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records and request documentation that recalls were addressed. Resolving recalls at Audi North Atlanta protects resale value and marketability; you can get an appraisal or value estimate online at our trade-in page after repairs are completed.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2021 Audi A4 allroad recall?
Open recalls are typically a safety concern rather than a direct inspection item, but some states or buyers may flag unresolved safety recalls during inspections or title transfers. Fixing the recall at Audi North Atlanta ensures compliance with safety expectations and reduces risk of inspection issues; contact our service team to schedule appointment for a free recall repair check and ask about our service financing options.
