What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2020 Audi RS 3?
The NHTSA has issued 9 recalls affecting the 2020 Audi RS 3, mainly involving the passenger occupant detection system and rear seat head restraints. Components affected include the Air Bag/PODS system (7 related records) and rear seat/head restraint assemblies (2 records), which can deactivate a passenger air bag or reduce head restraint stability. These summaries are drawn from NHTSA records; Audi North Atlanta will verify your vehicle’s specific status and perform free repairs.

How much does a 2020 Audi RS 3 recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs for the 2020 Audi RS 3 are performed at no cost to the owner under Audi’s recall program. Audi North Atlanta uses OEM parts and factory-trained technicians to complete recall repairs free of charge; there is no labor or parts fee for required recall work. If additional non-recall repairs are requested, ask about our service financing options when you schedule appointment.
Can I get my 2020 Audi RS 3 recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be completed by an authorized dealer to ensure OEM parts and proper factory procedures, and Audi North Atlanta is an authorized Audi franchise dealer that performs recall work. Independent shops cannot perform official manufacturer recall remedies that require Audi’s parts, diagnostic access, and warranty submission; using a franchise dealer protects warranty and safety compliance.
How long does a 2020 Audi RS 3 recall repair take?
Repair time varies by recall: some fixes are a connector replacement and cable reroute (often a few hours) while other remedies may take longer depending on parts availability. Audi North Atlanta will provide an estimated turnaround when you schedule service; we offer streamlined appointments and loaner options when available.
Does an open recall affect my 2020 Audi RS 3's trade-in or resale value?
Yes — unresolved recalls can lower trade-in offers and raise buyer concerns because many dealers and buyers check NHTSA history before purchase. Resolving recalls at Audi North Atlanta protects resale value and marketability; to begin, visit our trade-in page for appraisal information: trade-in/appraisal.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2020 Audi RS 3 recall?
An unresolved safety-related recall can jeopardize inspection outcomes or safe operation; some inspectors and insurers may consider open recalls during evaluations. Addressing recalls at Audi North Atlanta ensures your vehicle meets manufacturer safety updates and can prevent inspection or insurance complications.
